I’m Karen, a knitter, spinner, and general textile crafts geek, living in rural Dorset in the UK. I keep a small flock of Ryeland and Shetland sheep, as well as four horses, eight chickens, and some very opinionated cats. You’ll read about them all here from time to time.
I also run Wildcraft, an online shop that specializes in beautiful hand-dyed fibres and tools for hand spinners. When I’m not crafting, blogging, or dealing with the latest livestock crisis, I’m a web programmer and social science researcher. This is a blog about my crafty activities and the other curious goings on at Wildcraft central. The photo below shows me spinning when I visited Isle of Skye recently. My hair isn’t normally that crazy.
