I’ve had a mean-old head cold for the last couple of days, so I haven’t been on best form lately. But that hasn’t stopped me knitting, and I have a new project that’s just off the needles which I’m very pleased with.
Since my head’s a bit too bunged up to type much, I’ll make do with some pretty photos.
Fibre was around 70grams Wildcraft BFL in a ‘Pale Apples’ colourway (the dye was originally intended to be darker!).
Handspun to a chunky weight yarn on my Majacraft Rose (and a sample skein spun on a mediumweight walnut spindle).
Knitting pattern was the ‘Icing Swirl Hat‘ by Ysolda Teague.
I made the larger size, and the total yardage used was around 115m.
It was a lovely pattern to knit, and really quick, probably less than a couple of hours’ knitting.
If I’m up and about again tomorrow, there’ll be a fibre update in the shop. Otherwise, watch out for one during the week!
