Winter’s on the way, last night it was still tipping down with rain, so the horses wore their rugs for the first time this year. It was beautifully sunny this morning though, so the blankets came off again. Beats me how a horse can look so comfy in these things, they weigh a ton!
The bright sunshine meant that I was also able to get some photos of my current projects.
This completed sock is knitted from handspun Shetland yarn. I cast on the second one at our local SnB meetup tonight, loving the stripey effect, and the yarn feels really snuggly.
And this skein of yarn is the latest FO from my wheel. It’s a three ply made from three Fyberspates batts, two green and one pink, in a blend of merino, mohair and silk, with a little sparkle thrown in. It’s only 150m long, but I’m thinking fingerless mitts?
